ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
This class will cover Advanced Cardiac Life Support for the Adult. It is normally required for hospital and Fire/Rescue personnel. If one of our ACLS classes does not fit your schedule, we do group courses that will fit your schedule (minumum 3 students).

What Is Covered In ACLS
The American Heart Association’s ACLS Course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing
the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced, instructor-led classroom course highlights the importance of team
dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. The ACLS course also covers airway
management and related pharmacology.
In the ACLS Course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios
are presented. Successful course completion includes demonstrating skills competency in all learning stations and passing the CPR
and AED skills test, bag-mask ventilation skills test, a Megacode test and a written test. Upon successful completion, students receive
an ACLS Provider card, valid for two years.

Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
• Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions,
use of a bag-mask device and use of an AED

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct
or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and
other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in
emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and
critical care units.

content and well-tested teaching methodology can dramatically
improve the learning and retention of lifesaving skills.

The one on one ACLS course must be a recertification course. This can not be your first time taking an ACLS course.

An American Heart card will not be issued without completion of a skills session from an authorized AHA Training Center, such as Stat Life Medical Training.
HeartCode® ACLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). HeartCode® ACLS Part 1 uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. Students are presented with a team dynamics lesson, 10 ACLS hospital-based case scenarios, and a written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on ACLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA ACLS Instructor from Stat Life Medical Training, meets the requirements for obtaining an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card (you will receive your card the same day).
